Hi,

On Monday, we are going to start, as usual, with NEWS. This time, you decide what news your going to talk about. Please, prepare. It’s not just mentioning what you have read. It’s talking about it.

Another task is watching 2 short video clips about the history of Gunpowder Plot. You will find the videos on http://www.parliament.uk/education/teaching-resources-lesson-plans/gunpowder-plot-part-1/ and http://www.parliament.uk/education/teaching-resources-lesson-plans/gunpowder-plot-part-2/. Please, DO NOT FORGET  to watch them. There will be a short comprehension test that you will do with your partner.

After the test, 5 students are going to talk about BONFIRE NIGHT. 

Then, we will be working in class and in the lab or at any computer at college.

TASK1: READING and WRITING in class (if you finish, you will go to the lab to do TASK2: LISTENING and a set of activities. There will be 2 types of LISTENING tasks. Group 1 will have to do LISTENING 1. Group 2 and 3 will have to do LISTENING 2. You will find groups in BOX and the attached GROUPS . The set-up is not permanent and it will be changing depending on the task. If you finish your listening tasks, you will come back to our classroom, to do TASK3: READING COMPREHENSION. This task is only for students who will be able to finish listening.
